Molly's Choice

When Jim Bridger discovers that his good friend Molly is debating staying on the frontier or returning home to marry a man she doesn’t love, he decides it’s time for another one of his instructive tall tales. In this story, a much younger Jim Bridger stumbles upon a defiant Shoshone woman who is desperately trying to escape the clutches of a cruel and abusive husband. As Bridger and the woman bravely square off against the frontier ruffian and his henchman, Bridger soon realizes that she is none other than Sacajawea, the famous Shoshone woman who served as a guide for Lewis and Clark. Inspired by Bridger’s tale, Molly decides that she, too, is strong enough to face trials and dangers of the western frontier.
