Nothing gets in their way when this day arrives, including postponing a daughter’s wedding, and abandoning a client who could hang. Meanwhile, homesteader Meredith, his wife Mary, and their son, Jackie, stop in the town to get a wagon wheel fixed. Meredith, a former gambler, is transfixed…so he bets all his homesteading money and joins the game.
