The Texas Fence-Cutting War

After Mabel Day’s husband dies in a stampede, the young widow must defend her large cattle ranch from homesteaders who keep cutting down the barbed wire fences to access her grazing land and water. With both sides arming up for conflict, famed Texas Ranger Ira Aten is dispatched to prevent all-out war. Although he sympathizes with the local stockmen and farmers who rely on the open range, Aten develops an explosive plan of action to defend the rights of Day and other private landowners. If he can somehow frighten the fence cutters, he just might be able to force them into some sort of compromise. Some years later, legendary gunfighter-turned-newspaperman Bat Masterson interviews Mabel to get the real story of the Texas Fence-Cutting War.
