War Arrow He Won the Battles. Now Comes the War. Maureen O’Hara and Jeff Chandler star! A brutal Kiowa Indian band has been attacking Texas settlers and villages on the Seminole reservation. Army Major Howell Brady’s mission is to get the situation under control and end the Kiowa raids. He leaves Washington, D.C., with two sergeants to assist him, and heads for the rough country of Fort Clark, Texas. The fort commander, Colonel Meade, immediately disapproves of Brady’s plan to enlist Seminole warriors to aid in defeating the increasingly aggressive Kiowa. But Brady persists and approaches Seminole Chief Maygro. They come to an agreement, and Brady arms and trains his Seminole soldiers—and further angers Meade by allowing the Indians to live at the fort. But Brady’s guerilla warfare and ambush techniques work to thwart several Kiowa raids. His success has not gone unnoticed. Colonel Meade may not approve of Brady’s approach, but beautiful widow Elaine Corwin is certainly impressed. She and Brady soon fall in love. When Brady learns the Kiowa have regrouped and plan a massive attack on the lightly guarded fort, Meade ignores the warning. Now Brady needs to come up with a new battle plan—one that will save Elaine and an entire fort. You may also like...
