One of the most beloved Western dads, Ben Cartwright from Bonanza, with his compassion and wisdom, is the moral compass by which his three grown sons navigate life—no matter what mischief they get into or injustices they face. A self-made man, the now wealthy Cartwright has guided his sons, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe by example, with his strong family values. The sons may squabble among themselves, at times, and free-spirited Little Joe might lure gullible, loveable Hoss into some crazy schemes, but if the family is threatened, they close ranks, and will do whatever it takes, with integrity and honor, to defend each other.
