Theodore Roosevelt was bold, brave and opinionated, a wealthy man from a well-connected New York family (Think Gilded Age!) with a larger-than-life personality. So, you’d expect him to do some outrageous things. We shared several fascinating facts about the 26th President of the United States, and the wild menagerie that roamed the White House during his time in office. Now it’s time for the myths. Indeed, T.R. had many adventures as a big game hunter and as a cowboy in the lawless Dakota Badlands. It’s hard to believe there were any tall tales … but we found a few!
