We’re thinking this Santa has something up his sleeve! First of all, it’s August—and Christmas in July wasn’t a “thing” in the Old West. But he does weave a good tale.
On a cattle drive, the cook encounters a man dressed as Santa Claus wandering lost and alone, trying to find his wife and adopted Mexican son. He tells the men that his dying son may not live to see Christmas if he doesn’t get treatment in New York, so he plans to give the boy a grand celebration—complete with Santa. Filled with compassion, the men go all out to throw a Christmas feast and help the family with their medical expenses. Even Rowdy Yates is on board. But this Santa has a secret that may leave Rowdy and the guys with lumps of coal in their stockings.
