The second film adapted from Walter Farley’s classic 16-book series for young adults, The Black Stallion Returns centers on the all-important race that happens every five years when the tribes of the Sahara race their finest horses. The race is a great test of stamina for both horse and rider. To the victor go the best horses from the losing tribes–bringing prestige, wealth and power.
