Secret of Giving, starring Country Music superstar Reba McEntire, is the touching story of Rose Cameron, a woman whose grit and spirit — and the aid of a mysterious lone rider — enables her not only to pick her self up, but to restore the faith of a whole town in time for Christmas.

It’s the early 1900s and Rose Cameron (Reba McEntire) is a young widow with an overdue mortgage, only a few cattle to sell, and her 5-year-old son, Toby (Devon Alan), running a fever that seems to rise by the hour. Rose seems at the end of her rope when Harry Withers (Thomas Ian Griffith), a lone rider, shows up on her farm.

Things go from bad to worse when Rose can’t convince the banker, Gotch (Ronny Cox), to forestall foreclosure proceedings on her farm. Harry steps up to help, igniting a spark between he and Rose. But when an old acquaintance from back when recognizes him and threatens to reveal his true identity, Harry strikes a deal with Gotch that may put his own future in jeopardy, but will brighten the holiday season for much of the town.
