Granny’s Cowboy Cookies

Cookies for Your Inner Cowboy!

What puts the “cowboy” in Cowboy Cookies? Well, no one knows for sure, but there’s plenty of speculation on the vast internet frontier! Some say there’s absolutely no connection to the cowboy way of life. Others conjecture these cookies were early energy bars. They kept fresh for a long time and were a quick way to get the nutrition needed on an extended, difficult cattle drive.

Whether you sit tall in the saddle or tall in a desk chair at the office, these cookies will hit the spot.

From the photos of these family recipes, you can tell they’re well-loved!
