The road to Paradise is a journey of the heart

In this inspirational family story a preacher named Debbie Laramie and her son, Hayden are sent from a big city “mega” church to Paradise, a small rural community that is in desperate need of direction.

The fact that the preacher is named Debbie only complicates things. Seeing that the town is stuck in complacency and turns its back on its neediest neighbors Debbie begins building a new vision for her congregation…

… A vision that embraces everyone, even the poor and outcast, and when Debbie invites Trevor Goodman, an elderly black man living on the streets, to sing at the church service she realizes the deep rooted veil of indifference may be too strong to lift.

But as the church begins to embrace Debbie’s methods, the congregation begins to find their own sense of inspiration, tolerance and consideration … then something happens that might cause the church’s charter to be revoked.
