The True Story of World War II Hero Calvin Graham

Based on a true story, Rick Schroder stars as Calvin Graham, a mature-looking 12-year-old boy who enlisted in the Navy during World War II. In the naval battle of Guadalcanal, Calvin was seriously injured but despite his own wounds, he assisted in the fire control operations and risked his life to drag several wounded comrades out of danger, saving them from death in the flames .

Before his secret was discovered, He was honored for his bravery at Guadalcanal by receiving a purple heart. When he reported back to his unit after a leave, his world collapsed. Due to a misunderstanding, he is reported as a deserter which is the start of a real nightmare for young Calvin.
