Life is slow in the American Southwest desert of Coyote County. Local radio station K-RAP reflects the pride of the community but is close to oblivion as it struggles financially. Jack Proctor, a Los Angeles radio personality hotshot, rolls into town to improve the station’s ratings and clashes with the charming motley crew that keeps it running.

Jack challenges Lauren, the relationship expert and most popular host at the radio station, to an On-Air battle; a battle to prove his suave ways are more effective than her by-the-book advice in finding love. Jack claims that his relationship advice can help even the least likely men in the county find real love, and asks the “biggest losers” around to apply. A loser is chosen and Jack begins counseling him on finding a mate. However, tensions rise as Jack and Lauren’s relationship grows more complicated and Jack’s mentee chooses to woo Lauren.

In this crowd-pleasing, family friendly, romantic comedy, inhabitants of Coyote County learn that true love is selfless love.
