Robert I. Brace Promoted To Senior Vice President, Finance For The Inspiration Ministries
Charlotte, NC – Robert I. Brace has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Finance for The Inspiration Ministries. In this position, he will be responsible for overseeing all of the ministry’s finance functions. He previously served as Vice President, Finance.

Brace has 20 years of accounting experience, both public and corporate. He joined The Inspiration Ministries in 2004 as Corporate Controller. Previously, he was Consolidations Manager for Invista, B.V. (formerly KoSa, B.V.). In this position, he managed the global consolidations of the company’s financial information in four currencies totaling $2 billion in assets and $2.6 billion in revenues. He also was the company’s system administrator for Hyperion Enterprise 5.04, a global consolidations accounting software application, and was responsible for KoSa’s monthly general ledger accounting, budgeting and forecasting for the company’s 11 non-operating entities. Prior to this position, he was a manager with BDO Siedman, LLC, a Charlotte-based international accounting firm with more than 17,000 employees in 510 offices in 85 countries.
Brace has a Master of Science degree in accounting from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
