Iliad’s French service, “FREE TV,” is available to 3.1 million homes in France.
Indian Land, SC, USA –Inspiration Network International (INI), the fastest-growing inspirational network for the international audience, is now available on the French IPTV platform FREE TV on channel 528. The announcement was made today by Kyle Young, Director of International Operations, The Inspiration Networks.
“Inspiration is one of the first English-speaking, faith-based networks to be added to the FREE TV platform,” Young said. “We are excited to pioneer the delivery of this type of content in France.”
Young said that Inspiration has been active in the French market. “Through our Inspiration Global platform, hundreds of hours of on-demand French content have been available through Top TV (www.toptv.fr) since October 2007. The addition to the Iliad platform broadens the scope of our service to the linear television market. “
Launched in January 2005, INI was developed after more than twelve years of research. “Our goal is to make INI culturally relevant,” Young said. “Not duplicating our U.S. networks (INSP, i-Lifetv, and LFC), INI’s content reflects a global perspective with a wide range of programmes specifically of interest to the international audience. We continue to embrace all delivery methods in all markets so that quality, faith-based content remains an option for viewers on every platform.”
Iliad provides broadband services throughout France, giving consumers the luxury of digital television, telephone and internet at a highly competitive bundled rate.
Young said that FREE TV viewers will receive the same line-up of exclusive and original programming that is available throughout Europe. This includes a wide variety of musical series and specials, ministry programmes and content in the Steelroots teen block, fuelled by exclusive programmes featuring extreme sports and music.
