Mark Solow joined The Inspiration Networks in January 1999 as National Director of Market Development. In this position, Solow was influential in the launch of the organization's networks, working closely with MSOs, cable systems, and community leaders to conduct local events in communities throughout the country.
Now, as VP of Broadcast Distribution, Solow develops strategies to distribute INSP programming via broadcast television stations. His strong analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, and wealth of industry knowledge and contacts make him an invaluable asset to the executive team.
Solow began his television career in broadcasting and joined the cable industry in 1980 with TBS' Common Carrier, Southern Satellite Systems in Tulsa, OK. In 1983, he opened the Southwest office for The Family Channel cable television network in Dallas, TX where he served as affiliate director for 15 years.
Solow has served multiple years on boards of Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas state cable television associations as well as the American Cable Association (ACA) and Dallas chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT). He has also held leadership positions with Cable Television Public Affairs Association (CTPAA) and the Texas chapter of Cable Television Advertising and Marketing (CTAM).
Solow holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
