The Inspiration Networks Announces Agreement with Sullivan Entertainment Inc.
Multi-year deal brings television series “Wind at My Back” to INSP – The Inspiration Network. Series supports network’s “It’s a New Day!” rebrand.
Indian Land, SC – Doug Butts, SVP Programming for The Inspiration Networks, today announced the signing of an exclusive multi-year agreement with Sullivan Entertainment Inc. that brings the popular Canadian television series “Wind at My Back” to the United States on INSP – The Inspiration Network. The series will debut on INSP starting Monday, October 18th at 5pm EST with a two-hour special and will air regularly Monday-Friday at 2pm and 5pm EST. The program addition is part of the network’s “It’s a New Day!” rebrand, which targets socially-conservative Baby Boomers with values-based entertainment programming.

“Wind at My Back” – starring Shirley Douglas and Kathryn Greenwood – journeys back in time to the Great Depression era to share the trials and tribulations of the Bailey family as they struggle with the hardships of everyday life and the hard economic times in the fictional mining town of New Bedford. Viewers will follow the Baileys throughout this five-season series as they face these situations and many more with love, laughter, and perseverance.
“Given the current economic climate, the story of the Bailey family is one that many of our viewers can relate to,” said Butts.
