New, never-before-seen-on-TV footage to air exclusively on INSP
Indian Land, SC – March 28, 2011 – INSP and Gaither Productions once again are teaming up to produce another Gaither Homecoming Marathon to be aired Easter weekend on INSP. This exclusive TV special will feature music and themes for The Passover. The four-hour marathon will air on Good Friday, April 22nd from 3pm-7pm EST.
“Our audience consistently has demonstrated loyalty to The Gaither brand and responded enthusiastically whenever we have aired Gaither marathons,” noted Doug Butts, INSP’s SVP of Programming. “We’re particularly excited about the programs in this marathon, which are filled with unique elements for exclusive presentation on INSP. Our viewers have the opportunity to see clips never before shown on TV as well as rare, behind-the-scenes footage.”
The Gaither Easter Marathon will also feature artists and songs from favorite Homecoming episodes AMAZING GRACE, ISRAEL, JERUSALEM and ALASKAN CRUISE – MAJESTY.
Jerusalem and Israel– Bill reminisces about the Gaither Homecoming videotaping and shares some never-before-seen photos and video clips taken during their visit to the Holy Land.
Amazing Grace – See the Homecoming Family backstage in the halls of the Grand Ole Opry. Bill shares what it meant to sing Gospel music in the same building where the pioneers of country music launched their careers.
Majesty –Viewers will hear the untold story of how the Alaskan Cruise videotaping almost didn’t happen!
