Indian Land, SC – Doug Butts, SVP, Programming for The Inspiration Networks, today announced that the television series “Ancient Secrets of the Bible,” which airs on INSP,  was honored with a “Bronze Crown Award” in the film/television series category by International Christian Visual Media (ICVM). The series, produced by Grizzly Adams Productions, was recognized  during ICVM’s recent  “2010 Catalyst Conference” in St. Louis, MO. ICVM was founded four decades ago as an association of Christian filmmakers who began working together to more effectively reach an international audience with the message of the Gospel.

“This is well-deserved recognition for a great program,” said Butts. “Since launching on our network, ‘Ancient Secrets of the Bible’ has become a favorite of our viewers. This series is just one of the many quality, values-based programs produced by Grizzly Adams Productions. We’re excited about our continued partnership with them, and the caliber of programs from their library that air on INSP.”

In May, The Inspiration Networks announced a multi-year agreement with Grizzly Adams to bring faith-based and family-friendly television specials and series to INSP. “Ancient Secrets of the Bible” is a multiple award-winning program that examines the Bible’s most mysterious and controversial stories. The half-hour program airs back-to-back on Saturdays starting at 11pm EST on INSP as well as at 10:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday.

During its 35-year history, Grizzly Adams Productions has produced more than 1,000 family-friendly TV specials and series for domestic and international television distribution. The organization utilizes proprietary market research methods on consumer viewing preferences that have been cited in a number of publications, including the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post.
