Celebrate National Dog Day!

INSP Characters Go to the Dogs! Happy National Dog Day!

On August 26th we celebrate National Dog Day, initiated by the National Dog Day Foundation to bring awareness to the value and importance of dogs in our lives—the shelter dogs waiting for homes, devoted family pets, amazing service dogs, brave military and police bomb and drug sniffing K-9s, and tireless search and rescue dogs.

Dogs are a bundle of unconditional love, and there is no shortage of the tail-wagging, furry friends on INSP shows.

“Wolf” played by Chaz and Cody

Though Wolf was a wolf on the show, the breed of dog used to portray him was the Alaskan Malamute. A dog named Chaz played the original role. When he retired, his son, Cody took over. The role required many stunt doubles: Growling scenes: Mica, attack scenes: King.
