Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Marc Favaro is the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales for The Inspiration Networks. In this role, Marc oversees all Commercial and Ministry Sales for INSP, Halogen TV and INI. In addition, he is developing new methods to engage viewers using interactive television applications that will provide Commercial and Ministry clients with effective media campaigns.
Most recently, he was Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Ascent Media in Denver, where he created the first new media representation division within this organization. His wide range of responsibilities included working with America’s top national advertisers and national agencies to integrate their brand message into television-based emerging technologies. Previously he was the Chief Executive Officer for Inflection Point Media, Inc., in Denver, the first rep firm devoted to selling interactive television and video on demand, with distribution clients that included Comcast, Time Warner, Cox, EchoStar, Charter, Diego, InDemand and TVN. He worked with blue-chip national advertisers and agencies with their involvement in interactive television, addressable advertising, on-demand media, and High Definition Television. Favaro joined Ascent after successfully negotiating the asset merger of Inflection Point Media into Liberty Media/Ascent Media.
From 2000-2003, Marc had several positions with AT&T Broadband, working out of both Denver and New York. As VP, National Advertising Sales and New Media, he managed their 110 million dollar National Spot Television Division, and worked closely with the top advertisers and agencies in America. He also served as Director of National Advertising, managing their day-to-day National Sales Division including 25 National Sales Managers and 14 NCC Rep Offices.
Marc is a native of the Chicago area, and a graduate of Western Illinois University, in Macomb, Illinois. His work experience in Chicago included being a Local Account Executive for Jones Intercable, and Director of Unwired Network Television for Katz Television, in Chicago, for whom he created Unwired Network business for Katz represented Affiliates and Independents across the country. He was a National Account Executive for Cablevision/CNI, where he sold National Spot Television in 30 of the Top 50 Television Markets, and was National Advertising Manager for TCI Media Services.
